The Effingham County School System always strives to better able students for their post secondary education or whatever path their students choose to follow. They offer a variety of AP courses, allowing students to grasp many subjects at a deeper. The county offers many extracurricular activities, including band, sports, and a plethora of clubs. The sports programs at both schools in the county do very well and have an annual rivalry football game. The band programs at each respective schools challenge students to improve their musicianship through a variety of bands and ensembles. However, despite these opportunities, many teachers baby their pupils and offer little challenge in terms of course work and lessons. The school system is also extremely bipolar when it comes to dress code.

This school needs a bit of changing. There were always fights breaking out, and no one really does anything about bullying. It’s a pat on the back and you are off about your day which is really deflating. A lot of the teacher act as if you are just another pay check. Also, if you annoy the administrators in anyway and need help later on, they throw the one annoyance in your face and refuse to help you after.
I love the programs that the high schools offer, especially the fantastic music programs. Overall the teacher do their best to help the students to grow in their talents and abilities. If I would critic anything it would be how some schools operate and treat their workers. Some teachers and staff member have been forced out of their jobs because of how he or she was treated by his or her fellow coworkers.
