I haven't had one bad teacher in my time going to Edwardsville District 7 schools. The faculty and staff are dedicated to teaching and preparing for life and always go above and beyond to care for students. They push for academic excellence and helped me reach my full potential. If they noticed something wrong with me they would always pull me aside and help me out or accommodate my needs. There is definitely a culture of working hard and not giving up.

My only complaints are that bullying is sometimes mishandled by staff. Also, the culture among students can be unhealthily competitive at times, leading to a stressful and unwelcoming environment.

I love EHS! As a sophomore I'm not totally familiar with all of the different classes and teachers yet. Edwardsville High School has given me a wonderful experience so far with some of the best teachers that I know. I hope the confidence that District 7 will provide me with a superb education that prepares me (and then some) for college only goes on from here. The school hosts wonderful events and there are many activities to be involved in; I really feel that as young adults we are given an opportunity to find out who we are through these clubs. I also feel that the high school gives us the chance to have more freedom as individuals.
My experience at Edwardsville High has been amazing. I am so grateful to live in this area. Past students are always very prepared when they get to college and the teachers do so much to make sure of that. Teachers are very interactive especially the science department. Edwardsville has very successful sports teams every year and the faculty members do their best to get kids involved. There are many clubs to join for any type of person. I have had many opportunities to take college credit classes and that is very helpful.
