Edmond North is one of, if not the best, public schools that Edmond has to offer. Almost all the teachers are extremely helpful and try their best to help students succeed. Sometimes I wish they put more effort into encouraging students to be their best academically. Lunch food is affordable but not the healthiest. Athletics is where the school really shines. Anyone can notice that the school spends a lot of their resources into sports and extracurricular activities activities more than in any other field. At the end of the day, Edmond North suffers a lot from recent budget cuts and financial issues, a lack of diversity and overachieving student body, and not the most aware staff when it comes to problems within students. However, the school is still one of the best when it comes to preparing students who really want to be prepared for college, has some amazing sports programs, and tries to offer the most opportunities it can to its students. Go huskies!

Edmond Public Schools facilitates learning by gearing the curriculum towards the student. The excellent facilities and teachers give students everything they need to be successful. Beyond that, the school culture is great and extremely engaging. The amount of extracurricular music, sport, and club activities is vast enough for anybody to find something they enjoy. Additionally, Administration does a great job in keeping the learning environment safe and productive. In education, a personal touch is often lost, but the Edmond Public Schools system keeps parents and students up to date with everything that goes on. Edmond Public Schools does a great job by adapting to the changing times which ensures the success of students, teachers, and workers. I wouldn’t change a thing!
I’ve been through the EPS elementary, middle, and high school system. Cross Timbers was a great experience mostly because of the amazing hands-on teachers. All students are encouraged to try their best and are given resources if they are falling behind. Moving from a different state, I was a little behind on math in elementary, but I was successfully caught up and even got ahead because of the learning programs EPS provided free of charge. Middle school was rough, but I think everyone experiences a difficult time in the preteen years. The learning experience in 6th-8th was very high quality, again mostly because of the teachers. I currently attend Edmond North. I am appreciative of all of the different classes and clubs it offers, encouraging students to become self-motivated leaders. Overall, I have had an excellent experience with this school system so far.
