Above even being a good community, Edgewood EISD takes the time to talk to parents and sort out any issues. I personally have never had an issue with school transportation (buses) or the faculty. And when on any campus I have been treated with the upmost respect. But what I think what I like the most about Edgewood ISD San Antonio is that they take into account Arts; something that many districts do not have for students!
My district is very well supported and takes everyone's thoughts and opinions into consideration. I love the teachers at my school especially at Memorial Highschool because they care deeply about your succeeding in the future. They love to motivate you to be the best student and person you can be. I just would love to see the students show more spirit at our football games or pep rally's that we have going on during the year. Overall such a great school and district!
Edgewood is one of the poorest districts in the country, so many teachers try their hardest to support us. Sometimes it isn’t enough especially when our schools have teachers leaving us half way through out the year. It also sucks to not be able to see your gpa or class rank due to a district wide erasure. It also doesn’t help that we got hacked this year and had to switch to a new learning system.
