I enjoyed my time at EHS very much! The student involvement in clubs, activities, and co-curricular events is great. The administration as a whole is very well put together. However, there are a select few teachers that seem not to value education and student success as highly as others. The facilities, such as a state of the art wellness center, are phenomenal!
One aspect of Edgar that I was not a fan of was the block scheduling system. I felt as though I had very few options in regards to class choices. Because of this, the majority of students end up taking classes through individual-based learning online programs. By the time I reached my senior year (2017-18), I was frantically scraping for classes that pertained to my college/career path.
Overall, I am proud to be an Edgar High School graduate. Go cats!

The small class sizes. Teachers know you personally, your siblings and your parents. Teachers are always willing to help, even if they are not the primary teacher for a specific class but are certificated in the class you are taking.
Edgar School District will always be there for you! They strive to give the students the best education and the teachers will go the extra mile in order to help the students. I greatly recommend having your child come to Edgar to find what is best for them!
