I think I would really like to see some change with the STEM programs, Math, and English. Yes, at EBF we have an amazing STEM program along with our math and English classes, but I feel as thought we push the students too hard in these areas and leave little room for things they enjoy such as band or volleyball. I feel like we need to balance out our classes and activities to get well rounded students that will be able to enjoy high school. During my time at the elementary, there was little to none science and social studies curriculum taught to us. As I move up into high school, I see that they still push math and English about 75% more than they do science and history. EBF really needs to change the things being taught at their schools because students k-12 are having English and math shoved down there throats while science, history, and extracurricular activities are being forgotten.

My experience at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont has been pretty good. I have attended EBF for my entire educational career since preschool till now, my senior year. EBF is a fairly small school, which I love. Going to a small school is nice, because I know absolutely everybody and it is such a close community. Overall I would rate my experience at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont was very good.
The school district is small so everyone knows each other. Nothing really makes us stand out, but nothing particularly bad either. Just your average rural highschool.
