Going to high school is a scary transition for many. For me the transition from middle school to high school was easy and actually enjoyable. The teachers are very nice, and the want to help you learn. Administration is very helpful and kind every time I stop in. Memorial offers a wide variety of clubs and sports which allows any student to get involved if they want. Sadly the food is still School food so it's not the greatest, but they allow off campus lunch, and memorial is surrounded by lots of food choices.
I have had a fantastic time in high school and feel completly ready for college. If you're looking for the perfect high school in Eau Claire I would definitely give Memorial a visit!

I’m incredibly lucky for my daughter to go to a school where her voice is important and she is able to use that voice. My daughter has been taught so much in her formative school years—much more than just academics. She has been taught to be a kind and empathetic person, taught to be open and accepting of differences, and to be honest and work hard. If there was anything I would change about her school it would be to put more emphasis into “doing”. My daughter is a visual learner and I would love there to be more programs and teaching based on visual learning, field trips and interactive learning.
Coming from a smaller town, moving to Eau Claire was a big change but a good one. The diversity that Eau Claire has is something I really liked, meeting all kinds of new people everyday was something that I thought I could take for granted. I also really liked the opportunities that were given, the amount of stuff to do and participate in was one of the things I was looking forward too when moving to the Eau Claire area. However, I do wish that more money was put into the facilities in the high schools, things need to be updated and parents need to put money forward and the schools need to accept it.
