The environment at East Valley Highschool is cobered with a mask. The school seems very welcoming and very happy on the outside, but one you are a fill time student, the staff with an exception of a few are very negative and make you feel unwanted there as a student. Throughout highschool my teachers have always told me that what we do in the classroom is to prepare us for college. Well, I am a full time running start student and my first quarter in college, I was lost, confused, and had no idea what was happening. I feel like East Valley doesn't do anything to helpstudents for the future, I have always felt like they only do things to help themselves. Overall East Valley is not a despicable school, it is just not a school I would recommend that any parent who wants their kids to strive put their kids into. My experience at SCC has been amazing and that is one thing I am very grateful for, and that is East Valley giving me the opportunity to do running start.

It is an average public school with a small budget. Yes, this year we got apple laptops, but that was something i never expected to happen. The teachers make the school incredible though. What i like most about East Valley is that i can make great connections with teachers and they're always there if you need. What i would like to see changed is the school spirit, believe it or not. None of the students really care (me included) about the social events going on. I would have loved to get into the spirit if things were a bit more exciting. Overall, this school was great to do my four years of high school in.
We need an updated school. It is very worn. I would like to see a new sound system in the gym as it is embarrassing when other schools come. Basketball, volleyball, wrestling, ect... It produces awful sound and you can barely understand what is being said. I would also like to see more staff involvement. Rarely do you see any staff at extra circular event.
