East Pennsboro Area School District Reviews
I have been an East Pennsboro student since kindergarten and would most definitely say that this school is like no other. The bonds that I have been able to establish with not only my peers but my teachers as well have made my experience at this school very enjoyable. The required course material can be quite boring and difficult to comprehend but the learning environment allows for this knowledge to be easily grasped and remembered for a prolonged period of time. However, I would like to see an expansion in academics. I feel as though the low number of courses offered at East Pennsboro restrains the students, does not allow them to explore their intellectual and academic potential or their interests in other subject matter. Overall, this school is quite fantastic.
I enjoyed spending the majority of my elementary, middle, and high school career at East Pennsboro Area School District for multiple reasons. Most of my teachers have gone the extra mile to help me and accommodate my needs when I was going through some medical issues during some grade years. Also, because EPASD is a smaller school, I really appreciate how everyone knows each other, along with the families. One downside to my experience was the mold. The school had to close for about two weeks my sophmore year because the mold was so bad in the high school.
East Pennsboro Area School District is located in a safe neighborhood. I enjoyed my years there of middle and high school and had no complications. However, as I got closer to graduating and began my search for colleges it became harder than I thought it would be. The academics are average, they do not really offer any extraordinary classes that would prepare you for college. The facility also does not help prepare students for college as much as other school districts in the area. Students are very diverse and come together in clubs and sports which I enjoyed and appreciated. Very friendly community.
