As a senior who has been in the school system since 3rd grade, my overall impression has been that the district is mediocre.
There are many good teachers -- but there is also a significant number of bad teachers at every academic level. I have had several classes where teachers do not teach at all, but get rated highly due to their use of "innovative" techniques, which do no good for the students while allowing the teacher to be lazy.
You can tell that the people behind scheduling have no idea what they're doing when they make Calc 3 and AP Physics -- two courses taken by many of the same students -- the same period. Because of decisions like this, I was forced to give up 3 AP classes I wanted to take this year. Issues in scheduling have also made me unable to take AP Computer Science Principles, despite the fact that I have requested it the past two years and have known since 9th grade that I intend to major in computer science.

What I like about attending the East Brunswick Public Schools is that no matter what school I attended, I felt the teachers were very supportive and helpful. They were tough on us students and expected a lot of us, but were there to support us to reach the goals they set for us. Without the strong teachers in East Brunswick, I would not be the strong student I am today!
My name is Taylor Wright, I attend the East Brunswick High School in East Brunswick New Jersey. I am currently a senior looking forward going to Caldwell University. I have attended two schools before East Brunswick. Out of all the schools I have attended East Brunswick public schools are the best. The teachers are wonderful, they want to help you, they are engaged in teaching the curriculum. Teachers give students opportunities to have one on ones with them to get the extra help they need. They want to see you be successful. The school overall is very diverse, I never had any problems with students or teachers. Everyone wants to succeed and see other succeed with them. This school prepares you mentally for college, the curriculum is harder than most high schools, they go more in depth and more in detail. East Brunswick overall is a great school, they truly care about their students.
