Earlham Community School District Reviews

I like that our school district is small and everyone knows everybody. Because of this, teachers really care about their students, and want them to succeed. If I could change anything, I think it would be the school itself. It is, for the most part, a very old building, with out of date facilities. Luckily, there is a new gym being put into place, with new facilities to brighten everything up.
Earlham Schools is the center of the community in this small town. Every one knows every one and that is what makes this experience so fun. You get to be yourself and try all activities.
Earlham Community School is located in Earlham, IA about 25 miles west of West Des Moines, IA. Earlham is a small town, so the class sizes are small, which makes for a less congestive atmosphere and greater connections with the staff and students from k-12.

Earlham Community School is a high school full of groups, just like any other high school, but worse. What makes it worse is that a majority of the teachers act as if they are still in high school. This makes them want to act like the "cool kids" and be apart of their group. The kids that are liked are the ones who are 'popular' in the teacher or coach's eyes. What I really enjoy about Earlham though, are the teachers who teach. I can name about a handful of them. These teachers have different styles, some give lots of homework, and other give homework only when they see fit and have classwork ready. What these teachers have in common though is the way they treat their students. They treat all of the students the same. No individual gets special treatment over another, and this is what I would like to see more of in the Earlham High School.
