Dyersburg city school district prides itself on Academics and resources which it has an abundance of if you're inquiring about science math or agricultural but if you are intrested in any of the creative fields they are sorely lacking. Durring my time there they constantly took any funding opportunities from choir band or theater in favor of the football team. They downsized band, choir, theatres, and art resources each year until students were forced to change school or give up their passions in favor of the schools version of "success." They are also sorely lacking in any up to date digital software for creators of any kind.

The Dyersburg City School system is committed to providing their students with the best resources and opportunities possible. I transferred from a neighboring school district before my freshman year of high school, and I am thankful everyday because of it. Dyersburg City Schools truly challenge their students to be the best they can be in academics, sports, and work ethic. I am incredibly thankful for my high school experience at Dyersburg High School and feel completely prepared to move on to the next phase of my life.
I have enjoyed my schooling here at Dyersburg High School because of the immense effort the faculty, teachers, janitors, and staff members put forth each day. I have learned a significant amount here at DHS, and I feel that I am not only ready for college, but for life in general.
