The school district of Durand runs very smoothly. Recently we've gotten quite a few new teachers and I can honestly say that they are fantastic. It was easy to transition to their style of teaching, a few of them having better teaching methods than the ones before. All the staff and faculty are very kind and they all care about each individual student. Our school also recently had an addition added along with some room changes. Although most of the changes were concerning athletics, we got a new art room along with improved science rooms. If anything needed to change, i would say that the bullying policy needs to be enforced more. We have a "no bullying" policy but more often than not i see bullying going on without teacher or administrater interjection.

Most of the teachers at Durand are very driven and focused on the student's best interest. There are a couple, however, that seemingly hardly qualify and their classes are a bit of a joke. The school is very sports oriented and much of the funds go to them leaving other extracurriculars in the dark. If you're in a sport, you're welcome, if not, have fun in the corner.
Good learning environment. Teachers are helpful and the administration is very willing to work with students to help them out. Very little bullying and good athletic programs.
