Staff often plays favorites but most teachers are good. Administration cares more about looks and funding then about you as a person.
Dundee Community Schools are small but the love teachers share with their students is not. Teachers go above and beyond guiding students to their success. Their passion for teaching can be seen everyday within the classroom allow student to not only flourish academically but also professionally as well.
I went to Dundee Community High School from kindergarten until I graduated! I loved it! It’s a small school so the community is really involved which made the school feel like home. Our safety always came first and we never had to worry about feeling unsafe at school. All the staff is caring. If you need a friend to talk to, any of the staff would be there at the drop of a hat.
I would like to see them more involved in the stop of bullying . Would like to see a bigger music program. The teachers are great most really seem to care about there students. The superintendent is great he really care about the school district and the staff at Dundee community schools .
Dundee is a great town, the school is very nice as well as all of the teachers. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about my experience at Dundee was the lack of diversity. I am very excited to further my journey in education and I am equally excited to be submerged in a more diverse school setting.
Dundee is a very well rounded school. This school has a lot of extra curricular activities that you can do to keep yourself busy.
Great people in a great community who truly cares about the kids and the quality educational experience that they receive.
It is honestly a decent school. If you are into sports, Dundee is a great school to go to. Like all schools there are some good and some bad teachers, but it evens out pretty well.
Dundee Community Schools is a very traditional school where your resources are given to you and how you use them decides your future. The building is a bit run down and in need of improvements, but due to a bond passed in November, these issues will be addressed in the near future.
Throughout my time at Dundee high school, I have enjoyed it very much, and it seems to me like my home away from home. Everyone here has seemed to enjoy it, because all the kids are friendly, and it feels very easy to learn in such an environment that you never feel threatened in.
Dundee is a very small town with a population of around 4,000, with a little less than 2,000 students enrolled in the alternative, elementary, middle, and high schools. Bullying has always been a major problem in the school, and no one seems to do much about it, even if it is reported- especially on the high school level. Most of the schools' funding goes towards athletics; mostly football and wrestling teams. However, many students are neglected from funding because they are in programs like art, theater, band, choir, and robotics.
Dundee was a fun high school experience. THey have plenty of opportunities for involvement and work forward on preparing for college and the (ACT previously) now SAT
I liked how many teachers genuinely cared about their students and wanted them to succeed. I also enjoyed the advanced placement classes that my school offered. I would have like to see more SAT prep at my school, and I wish they would have made classes more challenging to prepare me for college.
We've been really happy with our son's experience in this school district. The teachers are well informed and compassionate.
I liked the small school feel, and teachers always available to help. Now class sizes are to big and students don't do as well in their classes.
Dundee is a smaller community with a close knit community atmosphere. The music and sports programs are exceptional, but test scores are lacking. Otherwise teachers are great and students are somewhat diverse.
