Dundee Community Schools were an integral part of my childhood, attending from kindergarten through 12th grade. The small town setting and united community were a large part of the school's success. School spirit and pride ran strong for all. Although I participated in sports outside of high school, I was able to be a leader of my class through student government and other organizations. We were a close-knit group of students that truly appreciated all Dundee had to offer. Teachers were always committed to their students with honor and pride. I am so grateful for my years with Dundee Community Schools. GO VIKINGS!

Overall, my experience at Dundee Community Schools has been great. I have enjoyed everything our school has had to offer athletically and academically. I have enjoyed being a part of our schools softball and basketball teams as well as being a part of our Interact and National Honor Society groups. I also really enjoyed the online courses that were available because I was able to take classes on subjects our school didn't have someone teach. Our school is really small, but I would have like it if we had more classes catered toward toward the real world-like home economics or something along the lines of that.

Our school has had some troubles with the building: broken doors, awful parking lots, and a gym floor that's curling. That's just naming a few. With the new bond that was recently passed, that is all going to change over the summer. I am truly excited to see how our school will improve in the years to come.
Dundee is a very small town with a population of around 4,000, with a little less than 2,000 students enrolled in the alternative, elementary, middle, and high schools. Bullying has always been a major problem in the school, and no one seems to do much about it, even if it is reported- especially on the high school level. Most of the schools' funding goes towards athletics; mostly football and wrestling teams. However, many students are neglected from funding because they are in programs like art, theater, band, choir, and robotics.
