I’ve experienced a lot of good and bad times at my school district. We have good school spirit but we need more academic/educational help. Our school is not the best but some principals try to make a difference for the students. Sadly as a junior they say we’re the worst class(2021), that kinda ruins a lot for us but we’re still better then most. I just want our school to get academically better as other students make their way through school.
While I believe Drew Central is an okay school district, the teachers are the problem. Not all of the teachers, but a lot of them obviously pick favorites and do special things for a couple students while all the rest of us sit back and watch.
I enjoy being enrolled in this school. It has a great community setting where almost everyone will treat you like family. The teachers and staff here are very courteous and supportive. Also, you can take a lot of technical classes here if you wanted to go into a STEM, agricultural, or even a business career. There's even a robotics team here. Again, this high school is pretty great.
