Dover-Eyota Public School District Reviews
For the two years I spent at Dover-Eyota, my junior and senior year of High School, I experienced a great finish to my High School Education. Even though I was the new kid coming into a small district, everyone I encountered was extremely welcoming. The district and school did not make it hard for me to get involved again as it was hard being the new kid where everyone was already used to a small school everyday routine. I appreciated all the teachers I encountered and had strong relationships with both my coaches and other staff. I felt safe, important, and am glad that I got to experience a such great school district that truly cared about my education and more importantly, me.
I have just graduated from DEHS. It’s in the small town of Eyota which is 20 minutes outside of Rochester Minnesota. We have a Kwik Trip, a dollar General and our own little store called the Eyota Market. While I was at DE I was in involved in many clubs but the school board doesn’t do lots of funding for student trips or new instruments and such. It’s a small town school so everyone knows each other and you kinda get sick of everyone by the end of the year
The school does not have much diversity and the teachers discriminate against students who choose to do PSEO, instead of staying at the high school.
