COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:

All elementary students who signed up for Traditional Learning began attending in person school beginning September 8. Middle school students began in person classes on September 14 and high school students on September 21. Students will attend Monday through Thursday, with digital learning at home on Fridays, allowing custodians time to deep clean all buildings. Learn More

The Douglas County School System serves 26,000 students and is the state’s 17th largest public school system. With approximately 3,500 employees, the Douglas County School System is the county's largest employer.

Mr. Trent North is the superintendent. Student enrollment in the school district is approximately 26,000 students. There are 20 elementary schools (grades K-5), eight middle schools (grades 6-8), five high schools (grades 9-12), and two specialized high school programs. The school boasts a technology rich learning environment that prepares graduates for a lifetime of educational and career success.
