Ever since day one, I have attended DD2 schools. To this day, there are several teachers even all the way back to grade school that I would love to see again. I think of several of them often and also talk about how they helped shape me into who I am today. I feel that I have received the best education or at least have been offered the best education I could have. I may not have always applied myself as I should have, but the teachers have always been there and tried to make learning fun. Teachers have a hard job and I bet that if students behaved more, they could get a lot more accomplished!

When I first started going to high school in Dorchester District No. 2 it was ruff. The school wasn't well put together at all, there was fights all the time at school. During my duration there my school became amazing! We started too get more programs at our school, which means there was more opportunity to express yourself. As I was in school I was a cheerleader, I played soccer, and I ran track; this was an amazing opportunity for myself. My school also has AP and IB classes that can count as college credit. Not only do they have that but they have dual credit courses and an associate degree program for the students. I have seen my school from it's worse to its best. I can say that I am a proud graduate of Fort Dorchester High School.
My overall experience with Dorchester School District No. 2 is that is very different then other districts is like we always in school, and I love being in school. Other districts will miss a lot of days over crazy reasons. The most favorite thing I had liked about it is that we got out of school in May while others finished in June. One thing I would say they should fix is the lunch and vending machines they had us eating healthy stuff while other districts had junk food in the vending machines and better food. Overall, I loved my district then being in any other!
