When I first started going to high school in Dorchester District No. 2 it was ruff. The school wasn't well put together at all, there was fights all the time at school. During my duration there my school became amazing! We started too get more programs at our school, which means there was more opportunity to express yourself. As I was in school I was a cheerleader, I played soccer, and I ran track; this was an amazing opportunity for myself. My school also has AP and IB classes that can count as college credit. Not only do they have that but they have dual credit courses and an associate degree program for the students. I have seen my school from it's worse to its best. I can say that I am a proud graduate of Fort Dorchester High School.

My overall experience with Dorchester School District No. 2 is that is very different then other districts is like we always in school, and I love being in school. Other districts will miss a lot of days over crazy reasons. The most favorite thing I had liked about it is that we got out of school in May while others finished in June. One thing I would say they should fix is the lunch and vending machines they had us eating healthy stuff while other districts had junk food in the vending machines and better food. Overall, I loved my district then being in any other!
Dorchester District No. 2 has given me amazing experience’s since the beginning years of my life. They offerded great academic opportunities since 3rd, the G.A.T.E. Program witch made us apply ourselves at a young age. This district really tries to get the community involved by volunteering for charities, offering events for families to have holidays or a night out supporting young athlete. During my high school years my school offered many different opportunities for future careers and experience in those careers. They offer many courses for all types of interest; 3D art, health science, cosmetology, welding, biomed, sports med, etc. Dorchester District No.3 helped me set my life up to be successful.
