Doniphan R-I School District Reviews
I loved how the some of the teachers are interested in their students and in helping them succeed. What I would like to see improve, or hope to see is the college readiness. I would also hope to see the school taking interest more in their students rather than only a few faculty members. Also, like any school there is also an issue of bullying that is does not seem to get addressed with importance. I hope to see that issue to have been addressed as well as the obvious favoritism certain faculty members display for a set number of individuals. Overall Doniphan R-1 seems to be an average school with the most common and predictable issues.
Doniphan school system is comparable to most rural based public high schools. The majority of the students and all the staff are Caucasian. The area is mostly below poverty income with major employment being logging, sawmills and factory settings.
I've Always had a some what negative experience. All the staff tells you you're required to stand for the pledge, they all are very bias to people of different political opinion. You're basically really pushed to be a extreme Republican Christain straight male.
