Teachers are very nice, approachable, helpful, and hands on. They want to see each and every student succeed! Every subject is explained in detail and further into detail if needed. The classes are paced based on the majority of the students, so if the majority of students do not understand something, more time will be spent on what is not understood. This school is very inclusive of everyone and certainly fair! Everyone knows everyone in this school making it easy for students and teachers alike to communicate with each other. A good bit of teachers go out of their way to help students succeed; for example, they will stay after school and help students who need help in an area. I recommend going to this school district!

My experience in Doddridge County Schools was very good. The overall moral of the schools were uplifting, encouraging and appreciative. The staff is always willing to help the students with any of their problems. The student-to-teacher ratio is one of the best things about the schools. Students are able to have one-on-one time with their teachers and the teacher is able to both help and educate students.
As a student here, I can definitely say this is one of the best school districts in the state. It’s very hands on, and very good with bullying and things of that sort. Since the population of our county is so small, everyone knows everyone. This means that parents and students know most of the staff and trust them very well. This is just a great district overall.
