The safety at all three schools is of the charts. I’ve been attending the dieringer school district for 9 years now and I’ve never seen a fight or even a student bicker with a teacher. The schools are well funded have A LOT of clubs they keep students active and the transportation (busses) are all new and comfy. Lastly the best part about this school district is the teachers. They simply care. They know each and every student, try to make everyone feel welcome, attend community events, support the students, and it feels like I attend a private school. The academics are so advanced that every single student who graduates from the 8th grade has completed 9th grade math, some having completed 10th (which has trigonometry! in middle school!). And because of dieringer not having a high school the students get to pick any in WA state.
My children have gone to Dieringer Heights and Lake Tapps Elementary for 5 years. The schools are gorgeous and well laid out with excellent staff and a great curriculum. It is very traditional. A place where kids can just be kids and focus on academics. It is pretty diverse, modern, but also keeps the basic/traditional manners/value/feeling.
Our family has a child at each of the three schools in the district. We are very happy with the education our kids are receiving. We are equally pleased with the communication, leadership, extracurricular options, level of parent involvement and overall sense of concern for the safety and well being of my children. We have been blessed with teachers who happily go above and beyond what is expected. In many ways, this public school district is like getting a private school education. We are very thankful to have found Dieringer school district.
