I absolutely love my school. Our school has the best athletes, most disciplined students, most diverse students, and have the highest success ranks in our area! I personally love my school because of how determined for success all the students are. It is very motivations and productive environment to be around. We also have amazing teachers who push us to be our best and teach us everything we need to know. We have a very professional admin and faculty!
Dickinson Independent School District is honestly alright. Not perfect, not terrible, but it's okay! They're a plethora of clubs and organizations to join at the High School and the CTE programs are amazing! I just believe that it could be better you know? The food is TERRIBLE; Tastes terrible and looks terrible. The teachers though are something. I've had my fair share of good teachers here but some of them are just lousy and lazy. The number one priority of a teacher should be to make sure their students excel and prepare them for the whole year and the rest of their lives, not just a test.
As a student of Dickinson High my experience was quite nice. Although the environment is not nice, people can be nice and kind. I believe that in Dickinson high school opens up new opportunities to students. However, it does hold back students by the amount of strictness and teachers attitudes. Additionally, the environment is not the best as there are people who do not respect others and may be mean. Overall, I hope to see improvement in Dickinson high schools academic performances and a better open minded environment.
