I LOVE mill valley high school. Everyone at mill valley is like a family. Everyone is treated with respect, and everyone enjoys going there. Even though everyone is super kind, we still feel like it’s a privedge to go to such an amazing, well-rounded school. The teachers do an amazing job to make sure you are doing well, and the involvement students get with sports is astounding. We all have so much fun at football games and the close bonds at mill valley hopefully won’t be closing when the yearbook does.

My experience with Desoto Unified School District has been outstanding. DeSoto Unified School District does a great job of protecting their students and community. The staff members care about each student individually and they will do all they can to help each student become successful. One thing that could improve is, updating resources such as the computers to allow for easier and better ways to get work done.
DeSoto covers a lot of land, but there are only two high schools. The bigger of the two, Mill Valley, gets all the funding and money in the district, so all of their activities tend to be better. They have more classes and overall more options than the other school. DeSoto, the smaller of the two, is in the middle of nowhere, but students who live near Mill Valley still have to go there due to overcrowding at Mill Valley. Mill Valley is full of pretentious white kids, and a lot of students have transferred to the other school because of this. DeSoto isn't much better, but there are more country kids there. Most of the teachers are good, but some are terrible.
