Delhi Unified School District has a few aspects that could be largely improved upon. For example, the counseling center that is supposed to answer all questions asked by students has never failed to just redirect me to go talk to different teachers and rarely provides students with a straight answer. Another thing that could improved upon would be the foreign language selection. While understandable that most of the student body consists of Hispanics, Spanish should not be the only foreign language option students have to possibly take. I believe that there should be other selections to choose from. And as a junior already, I can safely say that the school has not prepared me for anything having to do with college. They don't teach students about scholarships or what classes will be required for the field of study the student wishes to go into.

My experience at Delhi High School was a great experience. I am currently a senior at Delhi High School I have been attending the Delhi Unified School District for my whole life and they are a good district to be with because whenever you need help or assistance they will do anything they can to help you with whatever you need and they will assist you and provide help for you. The district is small and that is a good thing because everyone in the district is so kind and friendly. There is plenty of parent involvement, the teachers are very helpful and respectful. All the schools in this district are well maintained when something needs attention they get right onto it and that is something I live about the Delhi district. I can say that I enjoyed and had a great time learning at the Delhi District they have prepared me more college. The Delhi district is a great district to get your education at.
Delhi High School is an outstanding school. Teachers and staff put a ton of effort in to help their students accomplish their academic goals. DHS has a ton of clubs, sports, and activities to help their students become more active in their school. The security people do an amazing job by protecting their students and making them feel safe while attending school. Also, Delhi does a really great job by getting the students parents involved in their academic lives . If the student is failing academically or attendance wise the parents or guardians of the students are the first ones to be notified. However, one thing that I would like to change is the food. DHS does not give the best food and there are a ton of students who will not eat because they either get sick from the food or they just don't like it. Overall, Delhi High School is a great school to attend.
