Del Valle Independent School District Reviews
Throughout my whole 12 years of being in a Del Valle independent school district I am able to say I am confident to say these are the best schools ever. Every year was filled with new learning while also having fun. The teachers here truly care about your education. The majority are patient with every student and understand everyone learns differently. This year we will be receiving Chrome books in order to help the students be successful in and outside of the classroom. The school has even provided personal hotspots fro the students who do not have access to wifi. Overall the Del Valle Independent School District has never failed us to this day. I am proud to be graduating as a cardinal!
From having a mobile library driving to neighborhoods to fine arts day, the district always finds a way to teach the community a lesson involving education and finds new ways to support the students in their preparation for college. The community contains a lot of minorities that contributes to the well-being of their children. The district prioritizes safety by discovering new ways to prevent the worse case scenario from happening. The school's culture is very motivated thanks to the assemblies made often. The school helps the community with food by providing free lunch for those who need it and caring more about high quality meals than quantity. Lastly, the administration has been very helpful to their students by expanding the school with new facilities and improving technology. Overall, the school may have its flaws, but it’s those flaws that motivates the students’ morale.
My overall experience at Del Valle High School was great. From being a immature freshman to a more mature, put together, intelligent young lady. I've grown a lot because I was knownto have problems and always in trouble. But as i grew with the school and learned to abide by the rules, it has made me who I am. They also have very supportive teachers! They don't give up on the students at all. By my senior year I was more involved in school, I was the face of that Audio and Video department. I did the school news/announcements every week. This has allowed me to become more social, outgoing and confident person. I thank them so much. I wouldn't have wished to go to another high school.
