Dekalb County School District Reviews
I loved that the district allowed for the high school and also the middle to school to provide clubs that allowed the students to engage with each other. It also gave the students a chance to meet new people and try new things they had never tried before. The classes were rather small in size so there was plenty of room for one on one sessions if a student needed help. The teachers would help the students if needed to help them excel in their classes. There was always someone around who would help and it always felt safe and secure. We all felt very close to many of our teachers and staff. They could have helped us prepare more for college, but I began at a community college which helped prepare me for the university I had chosen. I am extremely grateful to be part of the DeKalb County School District. I cannot wait to see how our future youth provides for the people of the world.
the school is extremely small, a lot of the teachers quite this past year because of how things were being ran. Most of the teachers are either arrogant or incompitent. The lunches are too short for the amount of students in each lunch, therefore; not all the students can get lunch before their lunch period has ended.
For the most part, very good. However, children of well-known families are treated completely different.
