Deer Valley School District is big in my family, most of my relatives have either attended a school here or even currently works or has worked there. I graduated in 2010, back then they did not have many options there for getting you ready for college. They did have courses you could take for college credit but it was just generic classes like English and Math. Now my sister currently goes there and they have added a lot more! My sister is very interested in Humanities, they offer classes to get a feel on if that is something you may want to do. It is great that High schools are starting to offer opportunities to try classes towards certain majors before committing to one in college. As for the safety, I think all schools can always afford updating their safety precautions. It actually is not too hard to get on to campus unfortunately.

I absolutely love the Deer Valley Unified School District. I have grown up in this district and it has provided me with numerous opportunities. The teacher's are supportive and understanding. My prior teachers, especially my band directors, have always been there to help me financially when my parents struggled to pay for extra things for me. There is truly no student left behind in this district's programs and schools. Through this district, I was also able to get many college credits due to the diversity of advanced placement and dual enrollment courses. Additionally, I was able to get involved in higher achieving classes due to the motivation and encouragement of the staff on campus.
I have been with Deer Valley my entire school career. Everything is great and is always the best! The schools are well run and have top of the line facilities. The resources are endless with the numerous amounts of technology used in the district. I always feel safe at school and I know my teachers want the best for me.
