From DC Prep Public Charter Schools

DC Prep is a top-performing network of public charter schools in our nation’s capital. For 20 years, we have been bridging the educational divide in Washington, DC by increasing the number of students from underserved communities with the academic preparation and personal character to succeed in competitive high schools and colleges. We serve over 2,100 students in PK3-8th grade across six campuses in Wards 5, 7, and 8. We are proud to have received many awards over the years, including as a Cognia School of Distinction (with a 387/400 Index of Education Quality score) and two National Blue Ribbon Schools.

We support our 8th graders with the high school transition process and are proud to say that 100% of our 8th grade graduates are accepted to college-prep high schools. DC Prep's Prep Next program supports students throughout high school and college.
