For the most part, this district does a very fine job. When the road my school is located on was under construction, getting to and from school was incredibly difficult. You had to leave 30 minutes earlier than you had left previously, and even then you might not make it on time. Traffic was always congested, however, the district was very kind and sent food trucks to our school! When we didn't have to leave the campus to find good food, there were less accidents, more students were on time to the post bell, and it provided many great food choices before us.

Sometimes the district even lets us have snow days! But those are very few, and that's a bummer. I think its very respectable when we are let go for half-days due to the snow because we don't have to make those ones up later on.
Review Davis School District
I grew up going to school in Davis School District. For the most part it was great, good opportunities and decent schools. My main issue with the school district was the teachers. I had some amazing teachers, don't get me wrong! But about half of the teachers I came across were awful! It was very obvious that a lot of teachers did not want to be there, talking to me, teaching their classes, dealing with students.
I like to have teachers who are passionate and who you can tell actually care. I understand there will be few teachers like that everywhere, but in my experience it was half and half with good and bad teachers.
Davis School District, specifically Bountiful Jr. High and Bountiful High School, were above average in most aspects. I felt that most of my teachers really cared about our learning experience. Varying options in classes (remedial, honors, advanced placement and concurrent enrollment.) A lot of focus and money was spent on sports. College preparedness was sub-par. There was a lack of awareness and knowledge in our counselors about scholarships, which schools have the best programs, admissions. This area is predominantly middle class to upper class mormon white families, so naturally, diversity is lacking. Entire district area is very safe.
