I enjoyed my time at Daviess County High School. I ran Cross Country and won state my senior year. It was a memorable and incredible experience. I'm grateful to have gotten to experience such a wonderful high school! Teachers were wonderful and students were very inviting, as well.

It's a big school but not too big. The teachers and principals know the students. There's a good variety of classes and the teachers seem to care about the students. Instead of bells the principal plays music at class changes. The only thing I would change it the schedule. There are only four blocks each day with classes changing at the end of the semester. It's hard to get in all the classes you want to take and it would be nice to have some of the harder classes all year instead of just one semester.
All 4 years of my high school have been spent here. I have established and made connections with all of my friends and teacher. As much as I hate to admit it, DCPS is like a home away from home. This public school system has also given me opportunities such as college classes and a chance to support my school through the dance team. Dance is a huge part of my life and I am glad to say that I am lucky enough to have a school that offers such a great program to allow me to grow as not only a dance, but a leader, and person.
