Darrington School District Reviews

3 reviews
Darrington high school is a wonderful place to grow up, small town, great people. Considering our high school is in a small community it has its flaws. Darrington does not have a strong college bound program for students, meaning there is few to no college in the high school classes. Darrington is far seculuded from the “big city” so it’s hard to commute to a community college. As for the teachers at Darrington high, we are blessed to have such supporters and a great group of staff to give advice and help us along in our journey. Most of our teachers commute to Darrington and they will still make the time for struggling students before and after school to help you succeed. Overall, when I graduate from Darrington high school I will be pleased with my outcome and the challenges that I overcame.

The things that I enjoy about this school district are first, the variety of literature in the libraries, and a couple of great teachers. What I would like to see change in this district would be a more effective principal for the Elementary/Middle schools, more fresh, locally grown, organic foods, less bullying, higher accessibility to programs for advanced students, better schedule management, and more natural studies for lower grades.
Darrington High School is a school that is very close. The teachers care about each individual student and donate their time to ensuring success. The students are close and have grown up together all their lives. Everyone is greeted with a warm welcoming.
