What I liked about Crosby is my class got lucky and we were able to be the first class to go to the new high school for all four years. The new high school had really good resources and facilities, but that was it. The activities in Crosby are very bland and boring compared to the surrounding schools. There are very few good teachers and with the recent cutting of teachers, most are new teachers and do not know what they are doing. Luckily I participate in college courses so I have professors from college rather than new high school teachers.

One thing I liked about Crosby was the school pride. Crosby was very proud to be called Cougars and wasn't afraid to show it. It really influenced my choice of college. The college I chose was Texas A&M, who are also known for their school spirit and pride. The classes and the curricular itself was also satisfactory. I feel the classes taught what they needed to. Overall, I had a good experience at this school.
I love Crosby ISD and I love the small (but growing ) town that it's in. This is a town that supports and rally's behind the school and the community all the time. My children go to Barrett Elementary and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about the school. The teachers are wonderful and the principal is a 100% about doing what's right for the kids. It's part of the reason why the teachers are so great, plus they care so much and are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure each one of their students are successful. This school and this school district make me so proud to be part of this town and community! #CCTakeover #BESPride
