My experience in Cranston so far has been a mixed bag. There are great teachers, there are horrible teachers and there are mediocre teachers. The school culture and climate is fairly well disciplined and respectful. I would love to see the high schools get the funding they need to update their buildings to a level that is on par with the other high schools in the state. The Cranston Area Career and Technical School is a great feature for the school department. There are many options for which area to go into. Also, being able to graduate with career-ready skills and certifications is a huge bonus. The hands-on learning I have gotten from it so far has been awesome. It has made me more excited to learn about the medical field.

My experience in Cranston Public Schools has been an experience of learning, love, and change. Through high school, I have had opportunities to perform, study, and be with a diverse group of people each day. This has felt very special to me, because every day was unique from the last, and this was a drive for me - I looked forward to school. overall I could not have asked for a better experience or seen myself in a different environment.
I like the diversity and the relationship you have with the teachers on a personal level. The opportunities they have could be better in preparing us for college. It's a school with a lot of pride, safe environment. There are many activities you can join.
