Crandall Independent School District Reviews
After living in Crandall since about 4th grade, I have to admit, that Crandall is a mediocre school district. My personal favorite thing about the district is the band program. The band program pushes students to their [occasional] limits and helps the students explore themselves. It gives students new friendship opportunities and helps them to leave their "comfort zone." However, I dislike the educational program. While the educational program is adequate, it needs major improvement.
Crandall ISD is a really great school. The teachers are nice, helpful and genuinely care about the students and their futures. Crandall is a small town, so everyone is always really involved with the community and we all know each other. It has been great growing up in Crandall Texas and if I could go back I definitely do it again. Something I would like the change about CISD is that some of the rules are a little ridiculous but I'm sure every school has certain policies that must be followed. I like the administration and all the people that take part in the Crandall School District and I appreciate all they do for us. I care about my school and I will be proud to say that I graduated from Crandall High School. Once a pirate, always a pirate.
What I liked most about crandall was that it's a small town so everyone knew everyone. Friday night lights were the best. The number one issue with this school district is the racism tolerated, specifically at the high school. Crandall is predominantly white and has always been.
