I love being able to send my children to Cowan. It’s a smaller school but the staff is amazing and always has been. They make sure the children are safe & they keep striving to give them many options on working towards college. I love them getting more individualized attention with being a smaller school. My husband and I both went to school here as well. We are known for sports as well, two MLB players came from this school & have an amazing volleyball program & Won State! I love the community. I love this school!
I like the family environment that is created at Cowan High School. The students all get along well and the teachers help you like you were their own kid. The school is small, so the class sizes are smaller which makes the learning experience more personal and family like. I have developed many relationships while attending Cowan High School which will likely last forever. I have chosen to further my education at Earlham College because it is smaller and seems like it has the same kind of family atmosphere along with smaller class sizes.
There is not much diversity and the environment can be a bit uncomfortable for students of differing races and sexualities, but this is only a problem among students. The teachers are very nice and do not express negative opinions about race and preferences. I would not recommend Cowan to someone who is sensitive about those topics.
