Coventry Local School District Reviews
Coventry has great teachers who truly care about the students. They are invested in their futures and also their happiness. Coventry has a 95% graduation rate because of the community support and teachers who hold the kids accountable but also make decisions based on each child’s individual needs. The administration, school board and staff can be found at every after-school event and community activities. We do not have fights or behavior problems giving more time to focus on academics. Teachers will give students rides, stay late to help with homework, step in to parenting role when needed. The grades and test scores are above average. The district does a phenomenal job while operating on a bare bones budget.
It was a long time ago, but I really liked it. Everyone got along, everyone was friends. Great teachers too. Go Comets!
Coventry has some amazing educators and there was always someone who knew how to help you. We had superior choir and excellent band programs, which I was involved with most of the time. Coventry also had many much needed improvements done by my graduation. However it was my perfect because of the amount of scary levys put up against our school threatening the thing I loved most, music. This made some of my most beloved teachers leave for a safer job. Also Coventry board members and some community members were against open enrollment which was one of our main sources of students. Overall Coventry was the perfect place to attend high school and I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else.
