Overall, attending school in Council Bluffs Community Schools has been a positive experience for me from Kindergarten through my junior year. There have been a plethora of opportunities in high school to achieve college credit and to take classes that are challenging and better prepare students for college. Along with that, I have also had nothing but great experiences with teachers throughout the years. Teachers within the district are innovative, thoughtful, and value relationships with students.
The Council Bluffs community school district truly cares about its students and wants the best for everyone. I attended kindergarten-12th grade in this district and I have nothing but good things to say. Around every corner there was someone wanting to help you succeed and that’s what I wish for all schools in our area. I was very fortunate to attend such a driven school district.
Council Bluffs Community School District is very good in keeping clean buildings, providing several courses of variety, working along with the nearby community college to provide the opportunity to allow students to earn college credit while in high school, and offering a several ways to get students involved and interacting with each other. However, I wish the administration would pay more attention to students, their needs and conflicts going on. Not much is done in the sense of bullying-in person or cyber.
