Cotter has a nice student to staff ratio. Last I checked I believe the ratio was 13:1. You can tell the staff wants every student to succeed in their educational journey. Although the district is challenged financially, they always ensure every student gets the food and resources they need to thrive. My one issue with the district is the lack of professionality. It is not abnormal for the staff to be late for their duties. Educators also tend to dress very casually (e.g. flip-flops, capris). While this issue seems dismissible, students tend to follow the example their educators set.

I have been a Cotter High School student for all 13 years of my educational experience. I could not began to think that I would be as excepted and loved as much, any where else. I am in a wheelchair fulltime, but the students and faculties made sure I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. It helped me feel secure and ready to learn. I hade a great school experience because of this school.
I have been at this school for 13 years and I wouldn't have wanted to graduate from anywhere else. The atmosphere is great and the school spirit is fantastic. All of the students have so much support from the administration in every event or good choices they are deciding to make. The only thing I would change is the diversity of the student body and the quality of the food. Overall this school is one of the best in the area.
