I really enjoyed the Communication Department it helped me choose what I wanted to work towards in the future. My dream is to work as a camera man in Sports Media. They have a state of the arts program in Cortland School District! I'm currently enrolled at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Other student that have a communications classes with haven't learned as much as I have from my home town school. I'm Sure all School Districts could work on something to improve but as a student I really can't think of anything the district needs to work on to improve the education of there youths.

Beautiful facilities. Great teachers who really care about the students. We are lacking in the area of opportunities for students. Electives/internships are scarce, too many study halls and too much downtown for seniors. There is also little consistency among teachers and seems to be a lack of communication. Our school offers numerous extracurricular opportunities for students which is a plus. Our sports program is average to say the least but our fan section at home games is something to be proud of. Our senior class advisers are awesome and do everything they can to help us have a successful senior year.
I absolutely loved my department and professors. My major complaints involve the set up of campus itself. It is a very long campus with very little student parking. Majority of the parking is in one area of campus and you must catch a bus in order to get to class at the other end of campus. If you miss the bus or there's no room then you're sure to be late to class. Cortland needs a car garage! MORE STUDENT PARKING!
