I loved Cornwall because I felt like I had a place there always. There are so many clubs/activities that you can get involved in. What I would love to see change is the lack of respect towards the students sometimes. Faculty tends to degrade certain students whether it is if they get in trouble with something, or sometimes even is they’re diverse. I would also like to see students have more of a voice. From my experience, my grades voices were taken away as we were not allowed to speak our opinions on matters or take action on things we believe in without being threatened of suspension. Overall, at Cornwall the good overweighted the bad, and I would do my four years there all over again in a heart beat.

I have been in the Cornwall School District since 2nd grade. Prior to that I was in the Newburgh School District and a change in my academics happened immediately when I switched to Cornwall. The teachers were more involved one on one with us and also with our parents. It seemed to be a different way of learning at Cornwall, more of a relatable teaching skill. I definitely owe my grades and what I've learned to all the teachers that crossed my path through these years and for that I will be forever grateful!!!
