I was pushed academically while also able to enjoy sports and different clubs. I have been on the honor roll for all of my time through the Corbin Independent Schools and have been pushed by teachers to do my best. I am an athlete, so sports is an important part of school and at Corbin I have had the opportunity to have fun and excel both academically and athletically.

Corbin High School has allowed me to interact with other students and my community. I have been able to be a part of various clubs and extra-curriculars, attend social events, and enjoy sports. I have been able to be a part of the redhound pride and tradition that is a huge part of my hometown.
The school has great opportunities however some staff aren't astounding as I would say. Some hand out cigarettes, some have coitus with the students, others teachers don't even help at a meaningful level while some teachers try so hard as if you're in a college course, and some don't even do anything in class. The student body is fine overall but drama spreads like wildfire as usual. If you are of different race or color than white expect heavy discrimination by some students. Often given out by the jocks/prep kids or the junkie/druggy kids. The academic choices are great compared to most schools but some fields are barely touched like computer's or economic trade. There is a wide variety of sports for both the male and female student bodies. If you wish for your child to ride school transportation to and from home expect some discomfort if they aren't the loud and over going type. Corbin thankfully allows schedule changes. (Out of space)
