Coquille School District Reviews
I appreciate the Cad Program but would like to see more class opportunities overall. Most of the teachers are friendly and relate well to the students, they genuinely want to help and see students succeed. We have a large volunteer support group in both sports and academics as well as having many extracurricular clubs that are adequately funded for the size of our community. One of which is The Chess Team which has sent several young adults to state and even National Chess tournaments and events. Our Shop Class is also excellent with a teacher that teaches real life scenarios such as allowing students to build and work on projects independently. Also Sending us to State Competitions such as Skills USA. We are hosting something similar this Year called Skills Day where welders compete locally. I am happy going to school Here In Coquille Oregon where I believe the teachers have made a difference in my life!
My favorite thing above all in the district were the teachers, they communicate well and the staff truly work with you and make you feel welcome. The clubs and activities are alright, but unless you're into public service or sports you won't find much. Certainly loved my experience here, however.
The teachers are great, they care about students pushing forward and continuing education, and making sure the students understand the material. Also the school is positive and supports each and very student's unique skills. Also staff challenges students to challenge themselves by taking difficult classes and being involved in clubs, activities, sports and community service.
