Copperas Cove High School has great teachers but, the learning system is terrible. Not every student learns the same. Athletes don't have time to do homework or get their lives together. People have medical problems and nurses have strict rules with the district and teachers don't understand how illness work. Especially the district doesn't understand. The high school is too small. The "4-way" is a mess and that is the main reason why we are late but do teachers care? NO!

I liked that everyone supported one another in everything we desired to do. We are a small town with a big heart. We have s ton of school spirit and pride. One thing I’d change if I was capable of doing so, I’d change how we can easily judge a book by It’s cover. We don’t fully get to know one another, we like to just settle with the initial assumption we get from just looking at someone or from the rumors we hear. We don’t indulge in actual conversation to learn what someone is like, we rely on others and looks. I’d like to see district not settle with these standards, but to rise above them!
As a student in the school, I found myself falling in love with the teachers' dedication to the students and their success. The school provided just enough AP and Dual Credit classes to prepare for a brighter future. The electives allowed me to explore my interests and continue to learn about my career path.

The school struggles in the art department, as the administrator and some parents seem to care more for the sports. The theater, art, and music programs must fight for their resources through donation and competition, on top of fundraisers. Significant cuts are often made, even though the music program is called: "the pride of cove."
