The quality is terrible! A lot of them are falling apart, and the students are terrible! Some schools have sinking foundations, asbestos, drugs, sinking roofs, and squishy floors! At Marshfield, the fire alarm kept going off, and leaks were everywhere.

Coos County was a good school district only for high school. From pre-school to middle school I attended two private schools. Christ Lutheran School and Kingsview Christian School, where I felt I gain plenty of knowledge and was slightly behind my fellow classmates during my freshman year or high school. During high school at North Bend, I had wonderful teachers who were patient and wanted to see me succeed. I retained a healthy amount of education that I carry with me today.
I believe Coos Bay School District is overall a great, safe place to be involved. However, some of the higher administrative personnel need to get away from favorites and they should involve everyone. Everyone deserves a fair chance. The overall community and Cops Bay School district and the information and education factors are great. I enjoy each day I am a part of this school district.
