Concordia Parish Public Schools Reviews
Since the 2012-2013 school year I have attended Concordia Parish Academy of Math, Science, and Technology, and I have to say this has the best school in the area. We are considered a program/extension of the Concordia Parish public schools. Classrooms are small with a max of 24 per classroom. Smaller classes allow for more one on one interaction with teachers when you have problems. The main benefit of going to this school are the opportunities it provides, more specifically the dual enrollment, AP, and CLEP opportunities. While you can go to the regular public schools and participate in these programs, at CPAMST you have the opportunity to graduate high school with an Associate's Degree. The teachers here also care very much about your education and future, and this shows when you have conversations with them. This school is very good.
I go to Concordia Parish Academy of Math Science and Technology. This is a program which means it is an extension and I am still classified as a Vidalia High School student. My school os very helpful in getting us prepared for college and even allows us to take dual enrollment courses as well as adjust classes based off of our needs and interests. However, there can sometimes be a lack of communication with the administration and the food is horrible. Besides this, it is overall a good school and a good parish.
Concordia Parish Schools are not that great. The schools do not have a lot of money, the food is terrible, and the education is pretty low. Kids aren’t learning much, and what they are is not very helpful for future use. The schools are not that great, and the entire parish is full of crime.
