Overall Concord Community School district is filled with awesome teachers and staff. However, the teaching styles aren't very diverse and it can be hard to get someone to listen to you. The school does offer the amazing opportunity to go to the Jackson area career center which is really helpful to students who may not know what they want to do after high school.
Good small school with many opportunities. Academically, your student will need to do the work to get the grades. My student’s sports were very productive experiences. College readiness has greatly improved. One year after graduation, our student made the Dean’s list and still playing their sport at a college level. If you are willing to be coached and taught you will be very successful here.
It is a very small school. It participates in a few sports but not as many as bigger schools. Concord is full of country folks, and most of the teachers are not very good at teaching. However a select few of the teachers are very good at what they do. The academics overall should be improved.
