District 155 is an excellent district. It cultivates students to be great, and consistently demonstrates excellence. All of the staff is amazing! They always encourage us students to be our best. This school district also always provides amazing resources for its students that are really appreciated. For example, for this upcoming 2017-2018 school year they are providing all of us students with chromebooks. This is such a great perk of attending a school in this district. This is especially helpful for students like me who does not have access to their own computer at home. With how digital our education system is it seems like everything is online, so being able to have constant, personalized computer access will only enhance all of us students´ educational experience.
Review Community High School District No. 155
I Graduated from Cary-Grove high school in 2012. We have an amazing school district with plenty of funding and resources (reflected in our property taxes). Our teachers are paid very well. Sports teams are unstoppable. My comment on low diversity is only saying that we are not a very diverse community, predominantly Caucasian with about 20% Mexican, 1% Asian, and 1% African American. Although I'm used to the incredible diversity I experience at my college, UIC, so my thoughts on our community diversity may be biased.
The teachers of D155 care deeply about their students academic success. These teachers are hardworking, dedicated, and willing to put in the effort to see their students succeed. The classes offered by D155 schools are rigorous and competitive. Students are given the freedom to chose classes that interest them and allow them to explore possible future careers. Overall, D155 employs dedicated teachers and offers a variety of challenging classes for their student's benefit.
