I loved my experience at Columbia High School. Every teacher knew your name and cared about your success as a student and as a person. This school surely prepared me for college. In fact, my English class in high school was way more complex than my college English classes. The school environment was very friendly, positive, and caring. The staff are very helpful and resourceful. Learning is made fun here with many one on one opportunities. The small school atmosphere is by far the best way to learn in my opinion.

I love the small town culture and the relationships built from kinder garden all the way through senior year. I did not like the politics, especially when it came to sports. Sometimes in a small town the best players don't play the ones that know a guy do.
What I liked about CHS was the support within the teachers and parents. The school was known to have tons of support within the sports programs. What I would like to have change is preparing for college and college classes. I had a tough time transitioning from high school to college. I felt as if my education wasn't at the level I was prepared for.
