Columbia Borough School District Reviews
Columbia Borough School District is very poor. Every student is given a free breakfast and lunch. Columbia also has no bussing system so a lot of kids have to walk. However, alongside the cons are pros. The school district has very nicely kept facilities. The school district also has an amazing staff of teachers and excels in band and theatre. Although the school district does not have a lot of money it does an excellent job of giving each student as many opportunities as possible. The high school began two dual enrollment courses and a mentoring program. I personally feel that the school district provides very well for their students despite their financial troubles.
I loved my teachers and classmates at CHS. However, as a part of a small, poor, and failing district I didn’t feel as though I got some opportunities other nearby schools had. However, as a graduate of the 2018 class I am attending a local state school with the help of my financial advisor and teachers. Furthering my education would not have been possible without their help.
Columbia Borough School district is a small school where everyone knows everyone. The school district does its best to provide all of the its students with the most opportunities, however, Columbia Borough School district is very poor. Each student at the school is given a free breakfast and a free lunch. I am very impressed with what the school does with what it has. I wish they were able to offer more electives, and extra curricular activities.
